I am beyond excited to say that I have a new episode of the Fox & The Film Podcast to share. After much personal deliberation I decided that the best and possibly only way to get the cast going again is to start peppering in some remote episodes , which admittedly is not my favourite way to do these but is often the only way I can accommodate my guests. So now that my logistical hangups are done the podcast is back , starting with one of my favourite people the lady I lovingly call Doc Tannis .
Doc and I are old friends from the comic book convention scene and our conversations are always a blend of manic nerdy word vomit and intellectual breakdown , so in other words they are perfect. But I wanted to chat with Doc about the horror genre of which I know she is a huge fan and since I generally don't go for horror movies but still respect the craft behind them , she's the perfect person to fill me in on what's going on in the world of slashers and thrillers.
Before we get into what's new and good in horror Doc tells me about the unique convention she participated in this past month that bridged the worlds of all manner of misfits and outcast in the shared love of their craft , a little convention called Shock Stock which based on Doc's account may need to be something I visit in the future. After that we get into what's cool and shocking in the world of Horror including the Child's Play TV series, and setup our next podcast together which promises to be a good one.
