Getting Back to business.

After not creating content for the Youtube space I'm back. One part of being in the creative space that has frustrated me this past year is that one can no longer just practice you're craft you have to share the process. It's difficult to have to split your attention and energies this way but iI understand the why. Also i've been a major proponent of long form media for my clients so it only makes sense that I should make a greater effort to do it for myself.

With that in mind I endeavoured to not only share more of my work but to also collaborate more with my fellow visual artist and setup a series of photo sessions to "Get back to business" as it were. The first session was in Thorold where myself and my incredible assistant for the day Jen , created a simple set in the space provided by our friends at Besties After Dark dance company. Jen acted as the test model before we were joined by newcomer Lily who came in with a great attitude and energy and wound up creating some of my favourite images of the year.

The second session took place at Studio by House in Mississauga and was an amazing day on so many levels. First and foremost this was my first chance to collaborate with my dear friend Dior who is one of my favourite portrait photographers in Toronto but also a fellow nerd. We had so much fun just setting the tone and playing the space together , that the energy was contagious and felt by our wonder models Sierra , Jummie and Marie . It felt amazing to collaborate with a new artist and models and I hope you enjoy the behind the scenes look at the sessions as well as the images.
