I had been saying for a long time that i wanted to start shooting cosplay again. If you know me you know that the reason I first picked up a camera was to shoot the amazing costumes I would see at anime conventions and share them with my anime club friends who weren't able to go to conventions just yet. When Youtube first hit the scene ( yes I was there for the beginning) it was a home for fan subtitled anime so it was only a matter of time before convention cosplay videos started find there home there as well, which was what inspired me to switch to video as my main focus.
Ok story time is over and now on to the shoot. Fan favourite ( and mine ) Shantel aka Zombaebby showed me this amazing variant on the character 2B from the game NieR Automata and a I knew we had to shoot it together. Also I knew I had to find the perfect set to to do it and I found it at Millworks Creative in Dundas . Amongst their many industrial studio spaces was a faux jail cell that was a match made in heaven for this costume.
